These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Affirm Aloud mobile application ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Affirm Aloud helps you create and speak personalized affirmations aloud as a daily wellbeing practice. It uses artificial intelligence to generate suggested affirmations and supportive replies based on the preferences you provide.
Not medical or psychological advice. Affirm Aloud is a self-help and personal-growth tool only. It is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic treatment, does not diagnose or treat any condition, and is not a substitute for professional care. Never disregard professional advice because of something in the App. If you are in crisis, contact a qualified professional or, in the U.S., call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the App.
Affirmations and chat replies are generated by artificial intelligence and may be imperfect, inaccurate, or not suited to your situation. You are responsible for how you use them. Do not rely on AI-generated content for medical, legal, financial, or other professional decisions.
Affirm Aloud offers an auto-renewable subscription and an optional one-time "Lifetime" purchase. The following applies to auto-renewable subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store:
Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's Standard EULA. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policies.
You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to reverse-engineer it, disrupt its services, or use it for any unlawful purpose. The AI companion is not a person and should not be used as a substitute for emergency services.
The App, its design, and its content (excluding text you create) are owned by Affirm Aloud and protected by applicable laws. Affirmations you save or create are yours to use personally.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Affirm Aloud shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
We may update these Terms as the App evolves. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
